This Double Album Concept titled "MAMBOPUSSYKAT" consists of two Mambokat band configurations. The first 3 songs in the soundcloud widget below are from the new MAMBOPUSSYKAT Album which features a full horn section along with (Piano, Bass, Congas, Timbales) called Angel & The Mambokats. 
Songs 4, 5 and 6 are from "The Black Mambo Combo Mixes" the second part of this double album sample which features an afro-cuban rhythm section (Piano, Bass, Congas, Timbales) with the Vibraphone and This would be Angel & His Mambokat Combo.                                                SAMPLE MAMBOKAT MUSIC BELOW!

This Mambokat adds a missing ingredient to an extinct style of music known as West Coast Mambo Jazz. It seems obvious to fuse this missing frontman/performer element to the execution of this musical style on stage. Adding physical swagger to music is nothing new.  Cab Calloway, Fred Astaire, Sammy Davis Jr, James Brown, MIchael Jackson, Prince and Bruno Mars have all made watching them live on stage worth paying your hard earned cash for!  Angel Ferreira has pressed the refresh button on this elegant Mid-Century Mambo music style from another time guiding you how to move to it using his stage presence and social media examples.  Rebranding “Mambo Jazz” is this Mambokat’s mission.
